Mysore style classes are the ideal class for complete first timers to yoga to advanced practitioners of Ashtanga Yoga. Experienced teachers instruct on a one to one basis a personalised approach catering to each student & any special health or physical situations if needed. The teachers at Mysore Room specialise in this rare style of teaching yoga, where students move at their own pace under the watchful guidance, instruction & adjustment of the teacher, similar to a shared private session. progress is visible thru a systematic & long term approach to learning yoga. A Mysore class is where you learn to develop an independent Ashtanga practice.

The Led Primary Series is a verbally guided class where the teacher will lead the pace of the whole sequence of Ashtanga Yoga Primary series in a rhythmic Sanskrit count. This class takes exactly 90mins. It is a great complement to the Mysore class to learn the names of the postures & correct breathing method during the practice. Students can practice half or the whole sequence as advised. Some prior experience with Ashtanga Yoga is recommended. Occasionally a led 2nd series will be held by invitation for advanced practitioners.

Active yoga is a gentle, easy-to-follow yoga class designed especially for beginners. This accessible yoga series links simple movements with breathing to help you build strength, improve flexibility & feel more relaxed. It caters for active people already committed to other sports activities & want yoga to complement their regimen or anyone just wanting to start being active with 1 hour of dynamic movement that suited for sensitive knees or spine. No prior experience or commitment is needed —just come as you are & enjoy a steady, supportive introduction to yoga.

Our signature Rest Ritual is to promote heathy sleep habits and mental health in the city. End every working day with some help to unwind for a night of restful sleep. This 1 hour class consists of a light stretch to release the tensions accumulated from the day from the office, traffic or daily stress, we let go the neck, shoulders, back and hips. Followed by guided breath work session to calm the mind and finishing with a sound bath to find peace on a vibrational level. One of a kind class only in Mysore Room. Prioritise your sleep today.

rest ritual

A 1 hr wellness routine consisting a 3 part circuit of red light therapy, full spectrum infrared sauna & cold plunge that supports hormone health, joint inflammation, blood circulation, weight loss, muscle recovery, skin rejuvenation, pain relief, stres management, sleep heath & much more. Our wellness zone philosophy is rooted in the same structure as all our yoga classes, which is based on detoxification & physical steadiness by sweat followed by breath work for increased mental clarity and focus development.

Teachers are available to teach private sessions at the space. Class can be catered in a wide range of possibilities from mysore style, led, rehabilitative or for relaxation. Ashtanga Yoga, Active Yoga, Sound Therapy, Guided Led or Meditation or targeted movement requirements can be customised according to the needs of the booking with discussion of the teacher. Private sessions can be booked thru the same system as any of the classes.

You don’t have to be in Kuala Lumpur to join us! All of our classes including Mysore style, Led Primary, Active Yoga, Rest Ritual & Beginner Mysore are accessible live with our online membership. Yoga is a universal language so are our classes, live translation is available & most of our teachers are multi lingual. These classes are live so your practice is being watched & advised by our teachers in real time! Join us from home anywhere in the world! Class times follow Malaysian time of GMT+8. We also have Online Private Sessions by booking & On Demand Specialty Courses which are self paced & can be purchased in our virtual studio, keep checking for new ones as more are added. to the library!
