  • Mysore style classes are the ideal class for complete first timers to yoga to advanced practitioners of Ashtanga Yoga. Experienced teachers instruct on a one to one basis a personalised approach catering to each student & any special health or physical situations if needed. The teachers at Mysore Room specialise in this rare style of teaching yoga, where students move at their own pace under the watchful guidance, instruction & adjustment of the teacher, similar to a shared private session. progress is visible thru a systematic & long term approach to learning yoga .

  • Mysore Early Morning

  • ALL LEVELS. Complete 1st timer to yoga, Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, yoga teachers, elderly & all special physical or health conditions.

    Anyone with injuries, health conditions, pre or postnatal is welcome. Please inform the teacher before the start of class so that the session is catered appropriately to you.

Class Types

beginner mysore

  • Beginner Mysore is for those new to the Mysore class and Ashtanga Yoga in general. suitable for anyone trying Ashtanga for the first time and in the early days of trying to remember the first part of the sequence. A small part of the sequence is led and demonstrated by the teacher, and gradually built up for each student. There are no prerequisites for this class and anyone completely new to movement and/or yoga is welcome to join!

  • Everyday Sunday 10:00 to 11:00 am

  • BEGINNER. Complete 1st timer to yoga, 1st timer to Ashtanga yoga, some yoga experience but new to the Mysore method of learning, anyone that is starting to learn the Ashtanga sequences in the early stages.

    Anyone with injuries, health conditions, pre or postnatal is welcome. Please inform the teacher before the start of class.

led primary

  • The Led Primary Series is a verbally guided class where the teacher will lead the pace of the whole sequence of Ashtanga Yoga Primary series. This class takes exactly 90mins. It is a great complement to the Mysore class and to learn the names of the postures & correct breathing method during the practice. Students can practice half or the whole sequence as advised. Some prior experience with Ashtanga Yoga is recommended.

  • Every Saturday 7:00 to 8:30 am

  • Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced. 1st timer to yoga or completely new to Ashtanga yoga are not recommended for this class. Beginners with some experience & existing Ashtanga yoga students with injuries can also attend. If unsure check with teacher.

active yoga

  • Active yoga is a gentle, easy-to-follow yoga class designed especially for beginners. This series links simple movements with breathing to help you build strength, improve flexibility, & feel more relaxed. It caters for active people already committed to other sports activities & want yoga to complement their regimen or anyone just wanting to start being active with 1 hour of dynamic movement that suited for sensitive knees or spine. No prior experience or commitment is needed —just come as you are & enjoy a steady, supportive introduction to yoga.

    Every Saturday 9:00 to 10:00am

  • BEGINNER. 1st timer to yoga, beginners to yoga, elderly, sport enthusiasts, athletes & anyone with injuries or health conditions welcome.

rest ritual

  • Our signature Rest Ritual is to promote heathy sleep habits and mental health in the city. End every working day with some help to unwind for a night of restful sleep. This 1 hour class consists of a light stretch to release the tensions accumulated from the day from the office, traffic or daily stress, we let go the neck, shoulders, back and hips. Followed by guided breath work session to calm the mind and finishing with a sound bath to find peace on a vibrational level. One of a kind class only in Mysore Room. Prioritise your sleep today.

  • Every Monday-Thursday 8:00 to 9:00 pm

  • EVERYONE. Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced. Anyone struggling with tension in the body, stress or sleep. Mental health care is vital for all humans regardless of background.

Class Schedule

Our studio located in Kuala Lumpur is opened 7 days a week from 6:30 AM to 9:00 PM Monday through Thursday 6.:30 AM to 8:00 PM Friday, & from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturdays & Sundays. Between 3 PM to 6 PM on weekdays we are open by booking only. All our classes are available live online with our online membership. We usually host special trainings and events on weekends. Our studio is closed on some Public Holidays check our Instagram to stay updated.
