  • “My heart is so full. ❤️ It was a truly rejuvenating experience at the retreat. The practice space was so beautiful, overlooking the South China Sea and the morning sunrise added a positive energy to my yoga practice. Practicing with Yan and Manuel was such a blessing. They are experienced and open-hearted in their teachings, always giving the best support and adjustments to all students. Thanks again to Yan and Manuel for crafting this special getaway!”

  • “I had a fantastic experience at the Ashtanga yoga retreat. The teachers, Yan and Manuel, were excellent; they paid close attention to any injuries and offered wonderful adjustments to improve each pose. The venue was absolutely stunning, with a yoga pavilion that offered breathtaking views of the sunrise over the ocean every morning. The rooms were lovely and comfortable, providing a perfect space to relax after each session. The food was another highlight—delicious Sarawak cuisine with 4-5 course dinners and generous buffet breakfasts. There were plenty of local and Western options, and the portions were massive. It was also great to meet and connect with the other participants. Although we were the only two from Singapore, everyone from the KL Mysore Shala made us feel very welcome, and we made many new friends. I would definitely love to attend this retreat again and highly recommend it to anyone considering it!”
